This is a development kit that helps integrate PDF creation functionality into applications being developed.
Sorax PDF SDK application programming interface in a fully compliant COM Object wrapper helps developers to add render, print, and other PDF related functionality to applications they are developing. Programming languages that are compatible with COM technology, ActiveX, and OLE can use this SDK to add PDF functionality. Such languages include ASP and ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET, Visual C# .NET, Visual C++ 6.0, Visual Basic 6.0, VBScript, Java (using Java COM bridge), PHP, ColdFusion, Perl, Python (requires PythonWin), etc. For languages that do not support COM technology, a COM Object bridge can be used. What is attractive about this SDK is that it offers a simple interface to let you render good quality PDF documents. Functionalities that could be implemented include viewing, printing, exporting text, image from PDF files.
You would be able to add selecting text on the viewed page, copying to clipboard and searching in the document, etc. Additional features include zooming in and out, rotating the viewed pages, handling of bookmarks and links, etc. Creating booklet functionality is also available. You will be able to create layouts with single, two-up and continuous page layouts, etc. This helps printing booklets easily. Full screen viewing is possible. Marquee and dynamic zoom tools as well as snapshot tool will be available to the end application. Being Unicode compatible, South Asian languages could be supported. This application supports 40 bit and 128 bit encryption, path, text, image, form (limited functionality) and shading graphic objects, etc. RGB, Gray, CMYK, ICC Based, Lab, Indexed, Separation, etc. color spaces are supported.
